S1E1 First Day

When Will McKenzie’s father abandons him and his mother, the bespectacled, awkward teen has to leave his private school and join the local comprehensive. His distinct accent and nerdy looks quickly turn him into a target for the school's bully. Eager to connect with 'normal' boys, he befriends Jay, Neil, and Simon, but it's clear they’re not exactly the best company. Their attempt to buy alcohol at a pub only highlights their lack of success, proving that fitting in might be harder than Will anticipated.
