She learns about the daily life of the household staff during royal visits and browses through a scrapbook filled with keepsakes from as far back as 1925, revealing the evolution of royal family life over time. Penelope also encounters the Queen's bugler, uncovers a surprising artifact from the 1953 coronation tour, and discovers how, in 2012, the Queen played a crucial role in bringing together two divided communities in Enniskillen just by crossing the street.
