Mr. Wilson is working on a magazine piece about voodoo practices when Dennis misinterprets his research. Believing Mr. Wilson is a genuine Witch Doctor, Dennis spreads this notion throughout the neighborhood. As a result, the entire town starts to misunderstand Mr. Wilson's intentions and reputation, leading to a series of humorous misunderstandings and chaos.
