A large, scruffy dog trails Mr. Wilson as he makes his way home, and Mr. Wilson is determined to shake off his unexpected follower. Despite his efforts to send the dog away, the loyal creature remains steadfast, creating a series of humorous and frustrating attempts by Mr. Wilson to reclaim his solitude.
