Thanksgiving arrives at the Heffernan's, and as Carrie prepares a feast for ten, Doug invites a stranger in to use the phone, believing he’s harmless. Carrie, however, is skeptical of the man's intentions. Despite their concerns, the dinner guests express sympathy for the stranger, who’s stuck waiting outside for a ride. Eventually, as Carrie tries to embrace the festive spirit, her initial doubts about the man prove to be justified.
