In "Hit Man," a man in dire straits resorts to hiring an assassin for his own demise, hoping to provide his family with his substantial life insurance payout. However, when an unexpected business proposal arises, he faces a dilemma: will Johnny Detroit still carry out the contract? In "The Swimmer," former Olympic athlete Terry Summers suffers a paralyzing injury and arrives on the island in search of a remedy for his condition.
