The first narrative follows 66-year-old Charlotte, who, faced with a recent cancer diagnosis, feels a compelling urge to reconnect with the child she gave up for adoption as a teenager. Her search is fraught with uncertainty, as she has no information about her child's fate or even if they are still alive, making this quest all the more poignant given her health challenges. In the second tale, we meet Jenna, a donor-conceived individual eager to explore her biological roots. With numerous questions swirling in her mind, including the possibility of having biological siblings, she sets out on a journey to uncover the mysteries of her family history, unaware of the unexpected revelations and obstacles that may await her.
