Shawn and Jack's estranged father, Chet, unexpectedly shows up on campus, leading to a heated confrontation with Shawn. Chet vows to stick around and make things right with his sons after years of absence. He treats them to a lavish steak dinner and indulges in Rachel's famous chocolate cake. However, the night takes a turn for the worse when Chet suddenly collapses from a heart attack.
