The remaining contestants are put to the test in a high-stakes elimination round, where they have one hour to perfectly recreate the signature dish of the day: tarte Tatin. To succeed, they must accompany it with a smooth crème anglaise sauce. Those who fail to deliver an impressive rendition risk losing their apron and leaving the competition for good.
