Vidura discreetly sends a mouse into a rice bag for the Pandavas, leaving them puzzled about his intentions. Meanwhile, Duryodhan reassures Shakuni that Karna will stay out of their scheme. As Bhishma departs for Varnavat, Shakuni alters their strategy and communicates a new directive to Purochan.
