After Buck Strickland, Hank's boss, suffers another heart attack, Hank anticipates being promoted to lead the company during Buck's recovery. To his surprise, Buck appoints Lloyd Vickers, a recent business-school graduate, and assigns Hank the task of looking after his dogs. While at Buck’s home, Hank learns that the stove is electric rather than propane. This revelation makes Hank question Buck’s true commitment to the propane business, leading him to contemplate a career change to open a general store instead.
