On Christmas Day, the Smith family heads to church, and Stan is irate over the lack of good seating. As Francine attempts to calm him down, a miraculous moment unfolds. Frustrated about being stuck with Francine on Earth during a grand battle between good and evil, Stan abandons her in hopes of entering heaven. However, when Francine is kidnapped, Stan realizes his mistake and makes it his mission to rescue her.
