In this half-hour episode, four-year-old Gumball proves to be a handful for his young parents, Nicole and Richard. In an effort to manage him, they decide to get him a goldfish. However, after the first six perish due to neglect, mishaps, and sheer foolishness, Richard discovers a unique fish in a suspicious red van that connects with Gumball on a deeper level. Their bond faces a major challenge when Darwin gets flushed down the toilet, forcing him to navigate a terrifying new realm to find his way back home.
