After being tossed off a barge heading to Matadi, Eliza, Darwin, and Donnie find themselves marooned on the shores of the Congo River. To reunite with Eliza's family, they face the daunting challenge of navigating the rugged cliffs and rocky terrain of the Zaire mountains. Their adventure is filled with obstacles that test their resolve and friendship as they strive to make their way back to safety.
