Panthro creates innovative flying video cameras designed to capture the happenings on Third-Earth, aiming to assemble their own holographic time capsule. Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra plots to defeat the Thundercats once again by reawakening the formidable mechanical beasts they have previously vanquished. He brings back the Mutant War robot, The Driller, the Giant Insect, and the Techno-Pede to launch an assault against them.
