In "Tell Me Lies," Becker and Jake become aware that Reggie is troubled, yet she is unwilling to share her feelings with them. Despite Becker's attempts to coax the truth out of her, Reggie resorts to a series of fabrications instead. It isn't until later that she finally opens up and discloses the real reason behind her distress.
