Stacey Aglok MacDonald encountered numerous obstacles while working on Qanurli, a television series from Iqaluit that is entirely in Inuktitut. She struggled with a limited pool of local actors, inadequate studio facilities, and camera equipment that was misplaced during shipping. Meanwhile, Buckley was unable to locate the crane needed to lift his boat from Great Slave Lake. Fortunately, a friend helped him discover a place to safely store his boat for the winter at a dock in Back Bay.
