Cate and Baze receive an unexpected visit from a social worker assigned to assess their parenting capabilities. Lux finds herself conflicted as her boyfriend, Bug, and best friend, Natasha, raise doubts about her parents' commitment, urging her to reconsider returning to her former life with those who truly care for her. At the same time, Cate faces mounting pressure from radio station executives to deny her relationship with her daughter in a bid to protect her career.
