S8E33 Like a Meowth to a Flame

The group reaches Ever Grande City, home of the Hoenn League. At May's insistence, they set out to find a noodle restaurant but are suddenly ambushed by a flock of Murkrow. Just then, a Meowth donning a hat and boots leaps into action, driving the Murkrow away. Tyson, its trainer, introduces himself and reveals that he’s also competing in the League. He further explains that he carries the Moltres flame, which has caught the attention of Team Rocket, who plan to steal it.
