Ash and his friends reach the Lake Resort, the venue for the Wallace Cup. Zoey shows up to compete as well. As the contest kicks off, Dawn feels anxious and struggles to stay composed. In the meantime, May chooses to participate with her Wartortle, while Ash enters the competition with Buizel. The event also features cameos from familiar faces like Drew, Harley, Max, Norman, Caroline, and Solidad.
