Claude's brother arrives for a visit, and Lydia can't help but become smitten with him. Initially, Claude feels uneasy about the idea of them dating, but she gradually accepts it when she notices how much happier and kinder Lydia becomes. However, Claude accidentally reveals to her brother that Lydia has a crush on him, prompting him to break things off. Heartbroken, Lydia turns to Claude for support, who now must fix the misunderstanding. Meanwhile, Owen boasts in the office magazine about his chess victories over Will, leading Will to confront him for a match.
