However, her triumph is quickly overshadowed when Baber discovers a clause in the constitution that prevents women from serving. To make matters worse, Amaar chooses to honor the constitution, leaving Rayyan feeling betrayed. Meanwhile, Thorne recruits Sarah to assist him in reaching out to the Mercy community, resulting in her losing the friendships she had recently formed.
