Buffy encounters a sweet girl named Angela, who has feelings for Jody. Determined to help Angela blossom, Buffy organizes a party to help her connect with others. During the event, Buffy encourages Jody to dance with Angela, but he ends up paying another boy to take his place. Heartbroken when she discovers the party was all a setup, Angela feels rejected. Realizing their mistake, Buffy and Jody apologize for their actions and support Angela in finding genuine friendships in a more authentic way.
