As the Old Folks Home faces demolition to make way for a modern, unwelcoming facility, Pippi steps in to defend the town's elderly residents. She demonstrates that it’s possible to stand up to City Hall and, in a twist of fate, also saves the Chairman's children when the new building collapses.
