While on patrol, Wayne spots a stolen white van and informs Nick, who instructs him to start the vehicle while sending Maggie for the patrol car. At the station, the van's owner, George Pearson, arrives to retrieve it but mentions that two leather jackets are missing. A neighbor claims to have seen Wayne examining the van and accuses him of being involved with the missing jackets. PJ interviews the neighbor to clarify the situation, who fears a police cover-up. Tom questions Maggie about the van’s contents, but she insists everything seemed normal. Later, the Boss confronts Wayne, asking if he took anything from the van, to which Wayne firmly replies no.
