Terri is heartbroken over Jenny’s passing and finds it difficult to cope with the rift in her friendship with Peter, who’s returned to work just a day after the funeral. Chaos erupts on the ward when the boisterous godmother of a well-known crime family arrives. Alone with her grief, Terri confides in a charismatic patient. Meanwhile, Luke worries about his job when a hidden family secret comes to light. Connor faces his own biases as he provides comfort to a terminal AIDS patient and his devastated partner.
