Hardie enlists The Great Reardon, a mind-reading performer, to entertain guests at Wells Fargo's 15th anniversary bash. While Reardon's act has always relied on deception, he devises a scheme to con a mine owner out of $10,000 by claiming he can pinpoint the whereabouts of a lost gold ore vein, with the help of his wife's supposed psychic abilities.
