After the Tulip strikes a mine, it finds itself adrift in the void of space, exposed to potential threats. Frustrated with Caravaggio's lackluster capabilities, Percy designs a new female AI that is meant to embody greater emotional depth and intuition. However, Kate soon starts to exhibit an unexpected level of autonomy, causing complications for Percy's original intentions.
