After a brief escapade with the youth, Weyse seeks refuge in the tranquil surroundings of the hotel, only to discover that his struggles as a crisis-ridden actor are far from over. Meanwhile, Madsen celebrates receiving Nazi endorsement for his construction project in Germany, but his elation is quickly dampened by a troubling moral dilemma. As tensions rise, Vera must confront the reality of her relationship with Robert.
