Following an incident where Dean is targeted by Michael after classes, Lillian decides to speak with Michael's parents. She discovers that Michael requires more understanding than punishment. In an unexpected turn, Lillian chooses to mentor Michael on his science fair project, much to Dean's frustration, as he usually dominates this competition.
