Gladys and Abner find themselves embroiled in yet another argument, leading the fed-up Gladys to throw her husband out. Abner turns to the Stephens for refuge, but his presence soon becomes burdensome. To mend their relationship, Sam hatches a plan for both Gladys and Abner to share a dream that transports them back to the moment Abner popped the question, hoping to rekindle their love and resolve their differences.
