In Part 3, Dr. Fynn details the early life of Shaka and his ascent to prominence, beginning with the clandestine romance between Nandi and Prince Senzangakona of the Zulu tribe. Although Senzangakona is already wed and Nandi’s father seeks to arrange her marriage, their secret meetings persist, leading to Nandi's pregnancy. She ultimately gives birth to a son, whom she names Shaka, a name that translates to “beetle.”
