When an environmental activist is killed just before an important global conference, the team is summoned to investigate. Among the various suspects is Cobie Stegenga, a renowned singer who has been missing and is believed to be dead. Van Der Valk reaches out to Cobie's father in hopes of uncovering the real story behind her disappearance.
