In the episode "Sanctuary," Dr. Westphall discovers that his new housekeeper is an undocumented immigrant who has endured horrific torture at the hands of El Salvador's death squads. Meanwhile, a jittery Ehrlich seeks to escape his OB-GYN duties but ends up successfully delivering a baby. As authorities ramp up their efforts against the homeless, they uncover a sarcophagus and an unexpected connection to Wayne. Additionally, Dr. Caldwell faces criticism for his inappropriate jokes directed at Papandrao, which cross the line in front of a patient, leading to tension in the workplace.
