Legend of the Dragon (2006)

S1E1 Trial by Fire, Part One

With the passing of the last Golden Dragon, a new one must be chosen, and the only contenders are fifteen-year-old twins Ang Leung and Ling Leung, both skilled in martial arts and well-versed in the Golden Dragon's ancient philosophies. They begin their usual training at the dojo with Beingal when Master Chin arrives to announce the selection process. He instructs Beingal to return to her temple, having been chosen as the Guardian of the Temple of the Tigers, while an unseen Snake follows their departure. In a nearby forest, a group of warriors invades the Temple of the Snakes, discovering a statue that conceals a pit of snakes. From this pit emerges Cobra, the temple's Guardian, who retaliates by extracting the Powerband of the Snakes from the statue and swiftly defeating the intruders. However, before she can finish off the last warrior, the Zodiac Master appears, detonating a bomb within the statue that traps Cobra and allows him to steal her Powerband.
