The teams receive a clue that leads them on a 9,000-mile journey to Perth, Australia. After collecting some cash from fellow competitors—having been stripped of their belongings in the previous leg—B.J. and Tyler board the same flight as the others, much to their dismay, as they were hoping to slip away unnoticed.
