The teams receive a clue that leads them on a 9,000-mile journey to Perth, Australia. After collecting some cash from fellow competitors—having been stripped of their belongings in the previous leg—B.J. and Tyler board the same flight as the others, much to their dismay, as they were hoping to slip away unnoticed. Upon arrival, the teams head to the State War Memorial in King's Park before taking a ferry to Rottnest Island. Once there, they ride tandem bikes to a lighthouse and face a Detour. In the "Sand" option, they must drag forty hefty branches to a designated dune, while the "Sea" option involves retrieving two crayfish from fifty traps.
