Jane and Alex's parents organize a grand event to celebrate two decades of their family-owned mattress company. Jane is stressed about crafting a witty toast for her stern father. At the same time, Alex confides in Dave that their parents are oblivious to the fact that she and Jane are back in a romantic relationship. Meanwhile, Max embarks on a quest to find a new best friend, as Penny is busy navigating her relationship with Pete.
