On a remote Galapagos island, Esteban and Zia discover a solitary young boy named Tao. He is the last of his lineage, which once possessed a stunning ship called the Solaris, said to hold the ancient wisdom of his ancestors, concealed within a temple nearby. Esteban and Zia see the ship as their ticket to the mainland and are eager to unlock its secrets.
