After Steve is shot and slips into a coma, Mark is determined to uncover who did it, even resorting to intimidation against a potential suspect. However, when Gordon Ganza, the man believed to have shot Steve, is found dead, all evidence begins to implicate Dr. Sloan, making Mark the main suspect in the investigation.
