Duckula stumbles upon an old newspaper announcing a gold discovery in the mountains. Excited by the prospect, he sets off to explore the area, only to arrive at a deserted ghost town. It soon dawns on him that the newspaper he read was actually several years old, leaving him empty-handed and disappointed.
