Joyce, Isabel's friend, turns to Walter for help in tracking down the men responsible for her father's murder, who was passionate about horse racing. Through some insightful connections with horses, Walter uncovers ties to an inheritance Joyce was meant to inherit from her dad. He also encounters some enigmatic figures at the racetrack, leading him to believe they may be connected to her father's tragic fate.
