Ga Young struggles to get by while employed at Madam Jo's boutique, where her boss has swindled her parents out of their wealth. She anxiously anticipates an acceptance letter from a fashion design school in America, but due to Madam Jo's deceptions, she never receives it. In a cruel twist of fate, Ga Young is ultimately thrown out of the boutique after being implicated in an arson incident.
