Joan receives a divine calling to support children in need, so she decides to volunteer looking after the kids of mothers in abusive situations. Tension arises when she feels envious as Adam develops feelings for a fellow volunteer. Meanwhile, Kevin's arrogance resurfaces, leading him to sleep with his girlfriend, Rebecca.
