Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody, who has been missing and thought dead for eight long years, is finally rescued in Iraq and reunites with his family. However, CIA agent Carrie Mathison harbors doubts about his loyalty, suspecting that he may have been brainwashed by his captors and could be involved in a scheme to launch an attack on the United States.
