Sal Mistretta is an accomplished performer known for his versatile roles across film, theater, and television. Recently, he wrapped up work on two independent films, "Building Girl" and "Immaculate Misconception." A highlight of his theater career includes his role as Pirelli in a highly praised production of "Sweeney Todd" at the renowned 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, under the direction of Artistic Director David Armstrong. This Halloween-themed staging marked the first time the show was performed in Seattle, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences.

Mistretta also made his mark Off-Broadway, portraying John Tedesco alongside John Rubinstein in Elmer Rice's classic "Counsellor At Law" at the St. Clement Theatre. The production gained critical acclaim, earning two Lucille Lortel Awards, including Best Revival and Best Actor for Rubinstein’s compelling performance, while director Dan Wackerman was honored with an Obie Award for his direction.

In television, Sal has appeared in several notable series, including "Law & Order," where he featured in episodes like "Fluency" with Dennis Farina and Jesse Martin, and "Acts of Contrition" as a lawyer named Wright. He also appeared in "Third Watch" as Lawyer Alexander Sapp.

Beyond his professional work, Sal served as the Coordinating/Artistic Director for the Sutton Place Synagogue's inaugural Spring Sing Cabaret, where he performed his signature song "On This Night Of A Thousand Stars" from his role as Magaldi in the Broadway production of "Evita." He is also committed to community service, lending his vocal talents to the Vocal Ease Organization.
